How To Measure

Measuring

Use a cloth tape-measure for all your measurements. (Never use a metal tape-measure to measure for garment sizes.)
If possible,  have someone else take your measurements to ensure that you are not stretching or bending to read the tape measure and possibly altering the reading. Ensure the tape-measure is snug but don’t allow it to press into the flesh while measuring.

Female Products

Bust:  For all bras and garments covering the breast area, measure the fullest circumference of the bust.
Waist: Measure the circumference at or near the level of your navel.
Hip: Measure the largest circumference around the hips while standing.
Thighs: Measure the largest circumference of your upper leg.

Male Products

Chest:  With arms at sides standing straight, measure the circumference of the largest part of the chest.
Waist: Measure around the waist at the navel
Lower Hip Area: Measure the circumference of the fullest part of the lower hip area.
Thighs: Measure the largest circumference of your upper leg.

These are guidelines for measuring prior to placing an order.   We recommend calling one of our garment specialists for assistance before ordering any garment that has sleeves or legs knee-length or more or if you are concerned about ensuring a proper fit for any garment.   Custom orders are our specialty, odd sizes are not a problem, and we are aware that “one size does not fit all.”    Our store hours and phone numbers are listed below.
